With renewed hope we dropped our Not Falling Back into a 15k Claimer on the lawn at the Fair Grounds.  The betting public was optimistic too, as they bet us down to 4-1.   But alas...

DIFFERENT RACE - SAME RESULT

On this February 16th - the eve of Fat Tuesday, Money Rabbit (Jean) accompanied by her husband Useless Rabbit (Steve), were in attendance.  They had flown over from Sarasota and we were hopeful that the 2 of them could change our luck.  Well not so.

Jockey Marcelino Pedroza was aboard this time and he was told "Don't Get Into Murderous Speed Duels Early!"  Well he didn't - but it made no difference.

One very odd thing, is that Marcelino thought taking him WAY OUTSIDE would better settle NFB if he didn't have charging horses right next to him.  Look at the picture taken from the video right.  Can't be much wider than that!

So while everybody else ran a Mile, we ran a Mile and 1/8th and true to form we faded off the leaders and finished a well beaten 6th, earning $0.00 in purse money.
